Paul Amereller (born 1991) is a Swiss-French musician living in Zurich. He is exploring substances for improvisation and rhythm sound. At the age of four began playing the drums. Later, Paul was taught Swing/Black American Music by his teachers K.T Geier and Peter Frei.

Paul holds a master degree in music from which he graduated in 2016. During music university (ZHdK) he studied drums with Tony Renold, Dominik Burkhalter, Chris Wisendanger and Ziv Ravitz.

He is working as a co-leader with District Five and Kush K. Paul has played international tours and released various albums on different Labels like Intakt Records, A Tree In A Field, Stone Pixels, Hat-Hut, Unit Records. He also won the "ZKB Jazz Preis in 2017" and the “Kulturpreis Kanton Zürich 2024” with District Five and "Album of the Year 2020" with Kush K. 
He has worked and collaborated with Colin Valon, Ganesh Geymeier, Patrice Moret, Flo Götte, Malcolm Braff, Fabian Gisler, Evelinn Trouble, Nat Su, Marc Méan, Catia Lanfranchi and many more.
